3. How to order

There is no direct purchase on this website. You should first get an Estimate or Pro forma invoice. To get that there are 4 ways:

Simply use the Shopping Cart to select the products of your interest and follow the shopping cart instructions.

Send your request for Estimate by E-mail

Fax your request for Estimate to : +33 490 623 663 (download the FAX form)

Call us directly ! we speak English and have the experience to take order by phone! + 33 490 623 635 

After receipt of your request, and within 2 days,  will e-mail you a Pro forma Invoice with the exact shipping cost, your discount and the payment options.  Nothing to pay at this point. 

4. Payments 

After receipt of the PRO FORMA INVOICE if you decide to buy you can pay by:

• Credit Card by phone or secured server 

• Direct Bank Transfer ( Provence Scents will provide banking instruction for your payment)

• Credit Card Using WESTERN UNION

• International Money Order (Western Union for instance...)

5. Shipping - Transit Time - Delivery

We ship everywhere in the world. Your order will be normally processed within 2 days after payment is received. When some items are not available at the time of the order you will be informed of the possible delay. You are welcome to first inquire about the delivery delay for a particular product. Our first concern is that you receive your products in Time! 

We ship either by the French postal services La Poste in Priority or by Courier: DHL, FEDEX or UPS 

• French Postal service "La Poste" in PRIORITY mail only. It is the much cheaper than any courier company and It has proved to be a reliable way of shipping our goods across the world and particularly to the USA and Canada. The Custom declarations are made by the French Post Office. The transit time given by La Poste is 2 weeks but it might vary. We recommend our Clients to plan on 3 to 4 WEEKS of transit time. Mailing is done according to international regulations and all required certification and documentation is attached to each mail item. La Poste offer since the month of March 2006 a tracking system so you can follow your shipment on the internet at: ColiPoste - Espace particuliers Accueil. 
  
• COURIER: Clients are welcome to use their courier account, UPS, FedEx, DHL, to pickup their the order at Provence Scents. In that case we will provide you all the shipment details: boxes size and weight. Delivery 2 business days.

Shipping cost calculation: Because most of the orders consist in several articles we have stopped using the shopping cart to calculate the shipping cost. We do it manually in order to optimize the cost. 

6. Important points to consider:

The Orders are processed only upon receipt of your payment either by Credit Card, Check or Bank transfer. If you send us a check by the US Post Office, it will normally take less than a week to reach us.

If you need your order for a PRECISE DATE, we recommend that you use a Courier.

In Economy, in some period of the year (Christmas for instance) the transit time  might be significantly increased.

Because of the artisanal character of the products, Provence Scents reserves the right to slightly modified the aspect of any article in view of an amelioration or due to a change in our suppliers.

7. Return policy

Although it has rarely happened, Provence Scents will be seriously concerned by any unsatisfied customer. If a Client is not happy with what he has bought, and providing he can return the goods to us in its original conditions, and at his charge, the Client will be CREDITED  for the amount of the cost of the goods only. In the case of damaged parcels or goods during the transit, the Client will have to fill the damage claim form to be reimbursed.

8. Samples and Catalogue Policy

You can download  the catalog in PDF format (Acrobat reader). The catalog is not always up to date. All samples are chargeable plus shipping cost. Samples might be FREE only for New products for our regular customers

9. Disclaimer

• The import of Sassafras Oil may be subject to import formalities in some Countries.

• Provence Scents will bear No Liability for its illegal import, possession or use outside of the EEC.

• We are not Aroma-therapist nor medical Doctor and therefore will bear No Liability regarding the possession or the use of our product in France and abroad.

• Provence Scents will bear NO responsibilities for the consequences of a late delivery of any of its products or shipment.
